Finals Multitasking

Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.

Setting up Sunday

Heartless, heartless, I've got something on my mind
love is real:
Don't get any big ideas-
Help me so I know where this thing goes,
"Are you gonna take me home tonight?"

I don't mind what people say or do
by the Bumper cars.
Hold me now I need to feel relief-
I stick loneliness, your lips, and the two coins,
Rows of houses, all bearing down on me-

I don't know what I'm doing wrong-
You've come to this;
pray to the simple machines
as we approach fair weather,
staring at the sea.

Pushing through the market square-
Some will learn, many do:
there's a pull.
I woke up in a dream today;
This is a call to the color bind.
