just finished watching adaptaion. that is....a great movie. it's one of the few movies where you actually do get the characters confused with the actors and can be analized so deeply yet the writer makes fun of people that do so. it's one of the few movies where the writer is present instead of the actor. you're watching charlie kaufman, not nicolas cage. i also like it because it's honest and isn't trying to hard to teach you anything but it does. and it makes you feel without having to present much.
