Okay, so, relationship meme time! Go ahead and tell me your characters, and I tell you what Nakatsu thinks, or would think, about them! Simple as that.
If you want you can return the favor, but it isn't necessary.

Tomo doesn't consciously remember this, but she first heard of Nakatsu in the context of him being a guy that Osaka kinda had/has a crush on. But she hasn't really THOUGHT about that yet and it hasn't come together in her mind that "OH, this is the guy Osaka meant that time!" Because they hadn't meant. Subconsciously she does sort of recognize it and wonder about what they'd be like together if he weren't gay, because to her Nakatsu reminds her of like . . . the lovechild of Kagura and Osaka. XD Or even ALL THREE BONKURAS.
Also, she's not convinced he IS gay and assumes he's at least bi, due to various things he's said, and sometimes forgets to refer to him as gay to his face. XD Because privately she just does not think of him that way (the opposite of MOST guys at camp, actually, whom she treats as gay even if they're not).
ANYWAY MORE IMPORTANTLY. Tomo thinks Nakatsu is totally awesome and hilarious and great in every way. At first she was like "friend of Osaka's" but that went away within a few comments and now she considers him a good friend of hers. Similar to how Nakatsu feels like himself around her, Tomo really feels like herself around him. Like . . . it's not in Tomo's nature to check herself or censor herself or alter her behavior at all for anyone at camp. But to a small extent, mostly without realizing it, she does--this started after she learned her lesson that unlike in Azumanga Daioh, in camp, people will not forgive you ANYTHING 3 panels later. The world of camp is more consequence . . . y. So there are some people she is totally uncensored around and some she's not. And the people she's uncensored around tend to be those she doesn't have any personal attachment to (like Yzak, for example), but Nakatsu's an exception to that, so he's special. Nakatsu's a guy she likes a lot and is attached to and considers a friend and STILL feels like she can just be totally batshit crazy around without him judging her. He's like Kagura or Osaka in that way.
So yeah, she likes him because he's a lot like her, and some other important friends of hers, and he's retarded and spontaneous and totally bizarre, so she feels like she's known him a lot longer than she has. Almost like he's someone from home.
Lastly she doesn't really GET his obsession with Mizuki . . . it sort of really disturbs her, and part of it is because it hits really close to home, but is different enough to just be kinda off. Tomo feels like he really feels the same way about Mizuki as she does about Sano, but the whole thing about changing himself completely for Mizuki bothers her. On one hand she worries that he's obsessive and setting himself up for failure and generally being an idiot, and on the other hand she worries that he's RIGHT, that maybe that kind of thing is necessary sometimes for another person, and it's not something she can or will ever do.

He is doomed for failure, so bad. So sad. I know we will get a Mizuki, and I know they will break it to him and he'll finally understand that, no matter what he does, she won't love him. I dread the emo, but it is inevitable.
Let's work together for a shiningly awsomely retarded future!
