horrifying event of the week: In A&P lab yesterday, I accidentally ripped off a small piece of Socks' spleen with my hand. I was just trying to separate the branches of the celiac trunk! I then laughed so hard I was unable to breathe, which is actually kind of a good thing, considering how a preserved cat smells after five or six weeks.

Man, I bet you are so grossed out right now. That was a gross story. Dissecting things is gross, man!
