I went over logs again, just to make sure I hadn't imagined it. Just to make sure I'm not going crazy. Under the base, below everything: the presence of Getter Rays. This base. Here. Until I know what that means, I'd be an idiot to say anything to any of them-- Even if Saotome's research is all I have to go by, I'll take my chances there, rather than get entangled with the fucking military.
Part of me regrets pulling out before I got any more data, but... I'm not fooling myself into thinking the reactor would have definitely held out. It doesn't take much to die, a core overload, knowing too many secrets...
