How can you tell if it's a nice day out?

I thought it was the appereance of the sun and a blue sky but I hear people complain about the sun at times.

It is, but for some, the sun's warmth can be uncomfortable. And as the seasons change, it does grow warmer. I, however, could never tire of its rays.
