I've been ignoring you lately, again. Sorry. Getting back into this blog thing is harder than one might think. I think part of it is that the blogs I read seem so substantial that I feel like there's no competing. I think also that having such a comfortable group of friends to voice opinions and thoughts and feelings to eliminates the need for blogging that I've had in years before.
I'm not sure that makes sense, because lots of the blogs I read seem to have large networks of family and friends. Whatever, though. When it comes down to it, I'm just not as interested as maybe I'd like to be.
Today was my day off and I slept in until, oh, 2:30pm. Showered up quick and put on some clothes (Dan calls me Rambo when I wear my white Gap shirt- it has a rather large bleach hole on the sleeve and makes me look exceptionally homeless) and then went and paid our Rogers bill at the bank. $70 dollars later (ridiculous, if you ask me, for just internet) we got some chicken for supper. We never wound up eating it thanks to our addiction to McDonalds. C'est la vie.
Went to Ajax so Dan could buy some undies and I could cruise through one of my favourite stores ever- Value Village! Got a cute yellowish shrug and cried that I couldn't pick up the huge Victorian sette (man that thing was worth more than $79!) because we have no means of transportation.. and a bus driver might get mad if we try to bring that aboard.
Came home, did some laundry, drank a couple Mudslides, got sick-feeling, stopped drinking said Mudslides, went to bed... came back out to check Online Banking balance... and now I'm here.
Which reminds me-- we bought a prepaid Mastercard the other day so we could purchase things online. So far it has been nothing but a hassle. Damn you, Mastercard!
