(no subject)
I'm feeling really good about life right now. Dan and I were in a rut for a long time, but it looks like things are finally coming around for the two of us. He's getting more hours at work and is starting to like his job more- people are being kinder to him and training him for different tasks. The extra money he's bringing in is making him feel better about himself and is really helping us out financially. This, combined with my almost disgustingly huge (if I do say so myself) recent raise has put us in a great position right now, and we're in the processing of trying to get a new apartment. The place we're looking for is totally affordable and is so much better than what we have now. If we get it (I need to phone the guy tomorrow, he wasn't around on the weekend, we're upgrading to:

TWO balconies
Stainless steel appliances
ELEVATOR
NO CRACKHEAD/ALCOHOLIC neighbours
ON SITE laundry
Every bus EVER at our doorstep
and without a doubt, the very best of all...
OUR OWN PERSONAL AMAZING INCREDIBLE DISHWASHER.
Oh God oh man oh God, I'm praying we get this so hard.
Also: Today in line at McDonalds, I noticed the sign on the cash monitor:
"We do not except $100 bills".
Does it make me a total douchebag if next time I'm there I pay with an $100, and insist they take it, because they do not EXcept them?
