there are some times when I can't imagine why I wouldn't want to have nice evenings with my family. Today my dad took me to the lilac festival and even offered to buy my gas on the way home. I was reunited with the Pittsford Wegmans, where I bought things yuppies buy, like portabello mushrooms and goat cheese. My sister and I made dinner, and Shay made himself jewelry out of a baguette. My stepmom made vodka sauce, and Shay started screaming "no, no, Daddy will get drunk!" By now dinner is over, and someone has pushed someone and someone is crying, but I am safely on my bed with my laptop, and George is curled up at my feet. Right now I feel like things might not be so bad this summer, if I get my own car, which I will since my mom is buying a prius tomorrow. I will be driving a soccer mom car. But that's okay.
Monday I picked up Louise Slaughter from the hair salon and brought her to the airport. She said, "thank you, hon."
