Long time, no posts
I decided in the shower just now that I think I need a space where I can just blog and not worry about students, colleagues (except for those of you who are still here who read my blog all those years ago), and family finding my rants that might hurt their feelings.
So, I came back here.
To rant about the current fly in my tiny room that I cannot smash. The one whose buzzing is driving me crazy.
Someone who wants to work at the place I work seems to think that the position of "Mentor" means that I'm his personal punching bag. Said person is using canned feedback, not giving students any instruction in the discussions that actually focuses on the learning outcomes or major assignments, and then proceeds to *demand* I provide him with a lesson plan to use before the next seminar while simultaneously refusing to answer direct questions because they constitute "micro-managing."
What an asshole.
And how glad am I that I now have a blog where I can use the word "asshole" without worrying about it.
