Subject: security question

Dear David,

Grace and peace to you, my Father!  I hope your week has been a blessed one.  Was the hearing on Wednesday a success?  If you have time tomorrow I would love to hear the details.  Whatever the outcome I believe we're doing the right work in trying to have [name removed] exonerated, and I know Her hand will guide us.

When you have the chance, I was wondering something about the locks at the Project - I've never really asked how they work.  Do they take a few minutes to open for new people?  A friend and I needed somewhere safe to talk on Thursday and so we used the office - please let me know if anything was disturbed.

In Her most holy name,

Nicolas

Nick,

Greetings, my son.  May the light of the Highest illuminate all that you do as you go about your good works until we meet again.  Allow your ears to be open to Her call even through the noise and distraction of our city, for Her words may come from any quarter, and we must always be vigilant.

I believe Her hand was upon Judge [name removed] in our case, and we may expect the outcome to be in favor of the innocent, although as always we must pray for acceptance no matter the end result, for Her ways are not always clear to us in our frailty.

Regarding your question about the locks, I confess this leaves me in some distress: the locks should either open or not open; they are meant to keep out those who would seek to do us harm by bringing violence into the Project.  There should be no circumstance where they take time to operate correctly.  It is possible they've been damaged or weakened, since we have had quite the eventful year and they have had to withstand much.

We may discuss this more in detail at our next day at the office; I feel my judgment in this matter would be impaired without more knowledge of the specific circumstance.

May Her grace keep you,
David
