a real update (Summer)
So let's talk about Morgan's summer. The first month of summer (until June 11th), I just relaxed, shopped, slept in, wasted time on IM, did the lazy stuff. June 11th I started work, but the first few weeks are always slow with few hours.
This past week I worked a fair amount (fri, sun-wed) and then I went to visit Sagar for the weekend. I took amtrak and had a 1:51 train out of the boston rt. 128 station. THe train ride was a little over 3 hours but it was fun. I went through rhode island, through some ghettos in CT, and alongside of the ocean so it was an intereting ride. I arrived in Stamford, Connecticut at 4:56 pm where Sagar was waiting.
We drove around Stamford and decided to go to the mall. We actually ended up not going into this mall, because at the time, the parking garage seemed more appealing. We went and got dinner at one of his favorite restaurants, the Colony Grill. It was a unique restaurant in that it only had pizza, soda and alcohol on the menu. The pizza however was incredible. Sagar got hot jalapeno oil on his, which i had never heard of, and it was ridiculously hot.
After dinner we drove to our friend Lara's house who lives in Norwalk (Sagar's town). She had her UCONN b/f visiting too, and some of her high school friends so that was fun. We hung around till about 10:30 when we decided to go clubbing.
Lara's mom (god bless her soul hehe) gave us some alcohol so we could get drunk beforehand. Sagar and I had some Jack and some absolut and were quite tipsy. ONe of Lara's friends drove us to a club called Gotham City in New Haven. The club itself was awesome and ritsy. It was 18 to get in 21 to drink and there were bouncers everywhere. It had 3 floors, one with a giant bar and lounge, a dark underground floor for techno and a huge upstairs with mirrors all around and a DJ. It also had platforms to dance on where everyone else could see you. If you wee 21 u got a wrist band, one friend we went w/ was 23 so she bought sagar and me coronas that we were drinking on the dance floor. In my drunken state i actually did dance, on a platform too and i started a lap dance trend. haha. The guys at the club hit on me even though i was with sagar which was annoying. so i flipped a lot of them off. yay for drunk.
We left the club at 230 even though it's clame to fame is being the only club in CT open till 5 am. We slept from 630-10 then Sagar and I left for our hotel in Milford CT. We got a "king suite with jacuzzi" so that was nice. Saturday we spent some quality time, breakfast at Dunks, the mall, then the movies. We went to see Shrek 2. For dinner we went to a Mexican place called ON the BOrder. Sunday morning we got up early and got KRISPY CREME donuts (i love CT) and then i caught my train.
Sagar's coming for 4th of july and until then it will probably be all work.
Im thinking we should start having beach parties again...
