“I don’t think we need to go any further” she said.
This all started as in idea in her kitchen this morning. She decided we should skip class tonight, and go watch the sunset. Four hours and a short hike later, here we are. I don’t know if it’s the mountain air that is causing this euphoria, but I like it. I like her. It had only been a few days, but I can tell, I really like her. Then, her eyes catch mine. I am petrified by this Gorgonian masterpiece, but with the help of Hades and Aphrodite I capture her gaze. She laid out a blanket for us to sit on. The sun will be setting any minute. She throws back her hair and I can see the cool sweat that kisses her skin. I would sacrifice myself in her name just to do the same.
“I think it’s starting.”
The sun began to sink behind the skyline littered with mountains and a thin layer of snow. And then, it happened. A stiff current jolted into my lips, then my heart, and exits my body like lightning. I turn to plasma, and every electron in my body is excited, and free from its electron cloud. She pulled away and looked deep into my soul. She grabbed my hand.
“Lets go.”
