Could you help me get the rest of the links for your story? I see there are only three chapters. The Fiction Index and Home Page link don't work either. Also, are any of your other stories available, anywhere?
So Ashleigh, any help you can provide for me, I will truly appreciate it. I came to Queer As Folk kind of late in the game, and have only had the pleasure of reading one of your stories, but I truly enjoyed it.
Also the the link you provided for 'Irish Hunk Has Logged On' brings you back to another 2015 getithere post, and that link doesn't work either. I pulled up Daisy's LJ page, but there's no stories listed in her tags. So if you or anyone else has a link for that story, I'd like that too.
XOXO ~ Cathy

So you first use this link:
https://web.archive.org/web/20151128164036/http://www.ridiculouslyromantic.com/Fiction/TheGuyintheLastCubicleontheRight.htm
Once you've read part one, then you copy just the web archive part:
https://web.archive.org/web/20151128164036
Then you use the "part selector" box which takes you to the defunct webpage for part 2 (or 3).
http://www.ridiculouslyromantic.com/Fiction/TheGuyintheLastCubicleontheRightPart2.htm
If you then paste the webarchive bit into the address box ahead of the old page address you'll get the new part.

For part 3 it's actually easier because you just have to change the Part2 in the address to Part3.
Hope that helps.

It's here:

I'd forgotten all about that one, so it was a nice bonus.

She tends to explore the notion that the "right" woman and Brian ...
Not my cup of tea.
Any misunderstanding is due my limited knowledge of english - I'm still learning.

Thank you for explaining it to me, though. Wren. It really helped.

Sorry, I'm not Ashleigh.
Wren already explained about the process, I hope it helps.
As for using the archive in general, it works like this:
Copy the "broken" link (the one that doesn't work) and paste it in the box (the one you're talking about here: "When I click on Wayback Machine, I get a box wanting a http:// link for you to browse history.")
Click on 'browse history' - what you receive is a calendar. Every blue circled date has the page archived, so you just chose one and click on it.
Good luck,
Nadya

I tried what you suggested by copying the broken link and clicking on browse. I got a message that said, 'Wayback Machine doesn't have that page archived." Then I entered the link again and got the "Go Wayback" box, and that didn't give me anything, either.
Here's the link. Maybe I'm not doing something right. It's for the story, "And Then There Were Two".

I really appreciate your help. I feel so computer illiterate sometimes. I also didn't realize Ashleigh's stories were the "right woman" type. DEFINITELY not my cup of tea either. Apparently the one I read wasn't like that, or I would have never wanted to go back for a second read. But thank you for link from blklizard. Maybe I will check the out sometime.
Thanks for everything...

I was describing things in general, because you mentioned always having trouble using Wayback Machine. Unfortunately there are times when the machine cannot help.
As to Ashleigh's stories, not all of them are about Brian with a woman. Some of them have Brian/Justin pairing, although is hard to know which one is "safe" to read :lol
In "The Education of Allan Carson" Brian is in love with this guy Alan; also is having sex with an "irresistible" woman and all this is stretched for 20 years...If I could only find a way to 'unread' this one :lol
I'm not trying to convince you to not read hers fictions, some people loved them and she is not a bad writer.
Just giving you a fair warning, as I wished somebody gave it to me before.

I remembered somebody else was looking for her fictions last year and found the posting:
https://getithere.livejournal.com/2273186.html#comments
As you can see, blklizard uploaded a lot of Ashleigh's fic to sendspace.
I tried "Guy in the last cubicle" and it's still there, it's a .doc file.
