Which Order Should I Read Wren's Series

Aug 18, 2018 06:35

I decided I'd like to reread the Reverberations Series. Reverberations, Homecoming and Homework.  Which order do I need to read them in?

Thanks in advance for the info!

I always start with Experiment - yeah, I know, it's not a part of the series - I do it because it gives me the proper mood for Reverberations. There isn't any logic, I'm just weird :)

Then: -> Reverberations (I think should be first as in its essence is a rewritten season 5) -> Homecoming -> Homework

Fantastic series!

Thanks Ara. Actually, I just read Experiment about a month, maybe not even that long. I was going to start with Reverberations, but what threw me, was the descriptions on the stories on Wren's page on Magn-nificent.com

Reverberations stated 'These are flashbacks that go with Homecoming.' So, that made me confused. But, I appreciate your quick response. The only sad thing about the series is that Homework was never finished, and left off at a pivotal point. I really hope she will find her way to continuing this.

AFAIK, she is planning to finish Homework. The whole series is really great.

Thanks Kin, for letting me know this. It's truly a very good series. Although, I really like everything she's written, Wren's out-done herself with this one. It's hard for me to understand authors that have written 30, 40 or more chapters into a story, and then left them abandoned. They have already put so much of themselves into the thoughts and processes of writing the story, well... it's just something I can't comprehend. I mean, if their muse for the story left off after a few chapters, I could understand that they either couldn't comprise their thoughts for the story, or how to word their writing of the story. But after that many chapters.... Well, I wish an author could explain to me sometimes, because this has always been something I've wondered about, especially when I have come across stories I have invested time in and truly liked them. 7wildwaysup comes to mind immediately with two fics she abandoned, especially when she's a seasoned author with a lot of stories under her belt. So, thanks for this. It's comforting ( ... )
