I think the second one you're looking for is in "Desires" in xie_xie_xie's Only Time series. :)

I love this particular theme too so I second your request for more stories with it. I'd recommend you to read Choices by england13, because it has another scene like it. I don't remember the specific chapter, but you should read the whole thing anyway. It's really good. :)

Oh, you have to read Only Time! It's a classic. The part you're looking for is "Desires" though, in chapter one.
