Anyone know where I can find the fic "Zero" by sweet_dreams? All the links I can find are to bjfic.net, and the URL doesn't get me anything in the Wayback Machine. *iz sad*

Unfortunately Cael put a robot txt on the bjfic site when she took it over and this prevents anyone using a search machine like wayback from finding or accessing any of the fics on the site. I can't even access any of the old old links from before she took over managing the site.

However I do have a lot of the stories that were on the site not all of them but a lot of the older stories. I've uploaded quite a few of them sendspace.

I happen to have Sweet Dreams 3 stories uploaded into a zip file and if you want them you can download from this link. This is a direct link to her stories. When you unzip the file you can get the fic "Zero" that you are looking for.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I really appreciate this more than I can say. I came across an old thread where Vamphile and I were talking about this fic, and it made me intensely nostalgic for it, and I was so sad not to be able to read it again. You're the best!

You're very welcome. I'm glad now I saved so many fics and that I'm a terrible procrastinator who never gets around to deleting anything. I never thought they would be gone from the net and so many people would still want them.

also I think that Aly has put all the fics from both folders #1 + #2 of your BJFic Net Stories on her 4-Shared Mirror site (@ sidebar) as individual downloads. I just looked & "Zero" seems to be available there as a 72kb word.doc under Authors: Sweet Dreams.

I've previously downloaded both of your BJFic Net Stories folders so notice that I've already got "Zero" by sweet_dreams as it's in folder #2 & thank you so much for that!! All those fics would be lost! Aly's only been able to include them thru your efforts & generosity so thanks again! Don't know if u get much feedback but it's really appreciated here. If, as you say, it's happened thru procrastination...then as someone may have said in silliness:

Sorry to jump in just for a request, but I just tried to access your #1 folder and got a message that it wasn't there. Would you mind checking on it? Not urgent, of course, but I figured you'd want to know, anyway. Thanks for saving these! I hope there are lots of new fans to read this "historical" fiction.

I just ✓'d & got the same. #2 at https://www.sendspace.com/file/ck0l1o downloaded & decompressed just fine (took about 4 mins) but #1 at https://www.sendspace.com/file/ttu6z3 says, "Sorry, the file you requested is not available."

Both full zip files are also available to download at Aly's mirror site (@ sidebar) under 'by Sites' (instead of 'by Authors')
ETA: I just tried it there & it downloaded fine (in only about 1 min). It's called "BJFic Net - QAF FanFictions Part 1.zip" there. blklizard is credited on her sites opening page for it.

Yes, that link, https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/d8aie4 downloaded folder #1 for me just fine (took about 1½ mins). I've just have noted 1 of, I guess, your 1st posts about it in 2011, http://getithere.livejournal.com/1706675.html#cutid1 which gives the other link that has the 'not available' message.
