hi.. i just finished reading the Sunshine Files. I really enjoyed the long series (it's still ongoing) about Justin and Brian's life through the years..... they discovered new friends, got married, had a family... all that stuff. this isn't a feel good story for the most part but it's fantastic and huge, I think it's about to celebrate it 10th birthday! this is the link to the first part Queer Theories, then it goes to Queer Realities then is finishing up with Queer Identities

hmm.. i kinda tried the first few chapters of this.... i felt queasy about the idea of an omc involved with brian... rosenblum i think? soo. i didn't finish it,... but thanks!

Give it another try. Gaedhal's Brian and Justin are so wonderfully written!

I had to start it twice, and then I was hooked! That was 7 years ago!!!!!

hmm... was brian in love with rosenblum or was he just a John to brian's prostitute phase..?

gaedhal saga it's a well-written long fic, but Brian WAS in love with the omc (Ron), so if you (like me) can't stand those kind of fics, don't read it, you'll spare yourself some pain;)

Honestly, I just kind of skimmed through all the Ron stuff unless both Brian and Justin were directly involved. It gets much more bearable in the second of the series, though, (for reasons that are spoilers) and the author is really good about updating. Her Brian and Justin are pretty IC, too, which helps.

I read all the way to chapter 68 of QI and I just couldn't take it anymore. Way too much angst for me & Brian was just way too self destructive...but very well written.
