Moonshadow Woman has a few that would possibly fit the neglected part but it is hard to find her stories on Midnight Whispers because the fics are not alphabetized. I grit my teeth everytime I try to hunt for one of her stories.

Have you read Broken Angel by Moonshadow Woman?

It is a post bashing story. I thought it was very good. It somewhat fits your neglected request. It isn't the whole gang that neglects Justin but some of them sort of forget about him after the bashing. Although Justin is also abandoned by his family as well as some of the gang.

Also take a look at her story Always and Forever
Brian moves away and leaves Justin in the loft, the gang sort of forgets about him and he disappears. It has been a while since I read it so I don't remember all the details

Then there is Myrna's fic If you needed Me. There is some abandonment by the gang.

Sorry I don't have a direct link to the fic anymore but try the Lost Fic downloads or the Justin brain tumor or illness links in the tags. I know it was linked in community before. Someone else might have a direct link for you.

I'm not 100% sure these fit your request but Broken Angel and If You Needed me are both very good fics regardless.

I have a folder with a four-parter by Myrna and the first part is "If you needed me". Just let m eknow if you want it. I always loved her work too and what she did with her writing buddy Violet Jones as "Too Lunatics". Shirls
