My stupid laptop decided it would be funny to delete al my bookmarks and favourites so I'm looking for a story I read awhile back now and was wondering if anyone here could help me? I think the story was on fanfiction.net but I could be wrong. Here's what I remember about it ( Read more... )

Please give your post a subject line. It's the rules. Thanks.

"Help" isn't a subject. The subject line needs to pertain to the fic you're looking for. That way, when someone else is looking for the fic, they can find it by the subject line. Something like "Justin finds cat" would work.

Thanks for fixing that.

If you go back to like...2007 or 2008 in the archives here, you'll see a bazillion posts with no subject line, or one like 'help' or 'looking for a fic'. If you were looking for something in particular, you'd find yourself wading through endless posts. It's why we started tagging everything. With the TAGS list, it's so much easier to find what you're looking for, and we use as many per entry as we can. So, sorry if I sounded like a drill instructor, just doing my job. :-)

It's ok, don't worry about it. I'm kinda the same on a different website. I'm the submission admin for a club on deviant art so I know how you feel about the rules not being followed and stuff liek that. I genuinly didn't know btu now I do so in the future it'll all be by the book =)

That must have been a nightmare to sift through, you have my condolances there *pats you on the back*

Oh and I've unloicked it now too =)

It's really the only hard and fast one we have, other than updating your post after you find your fics. And no worries about it, we're all new at some point. *g*

You did good!

One more thing. Unlock your post, please? This is an open comm, and someone who isn't a member won't be able to see it.
