Well, it's a skill-in-progress, but fuck, I feel pretty accomplished to have figured out, in around 6 hours all told, how to get video bits off my camera, translate them into files my Mac can read, and edit them together.
This lacks the charm or polish of anything like... oh... fade effects, background music, title screens, or... anything other than raw video clips pasted together... but dude. DUDE. I CAN PASTE VIDEO CLIPS TOGETHER. DO YOU REALIZE WHAT THAT MEANS.
IT MEANS I CAN PUT ON SILLY HATS AND REVIEW VIDEOS OF MYSELF WEARING SILLY HATS.
THAT IS WHAT THAT MEANS.
...oh and I can make ~art films~ too. Expect one of those in the near future, because I'm pretty sure I actually DO know how to insert an audio track over the existing audio track or replace it or... whatever.
Therefor I must make ~art films~ about... you know... robots or some shit, whatever, it's gonna be awesome. Awesome like the fact that I am now the Tsar of my own nation.

...oh yeah by the way what the fuck is this bullshit thing at the bottom of my screen with a red tab with a star on that keeps scrolling links at a rate too fast for me to read even though technically I can read in Russian? And why the fuck are they all in Russian anyway? Is that a trick question like asking why TinyPic is always in Spanish when I upload anything to it now? STOP CHANGING SHIT, PEOPLE, THAT'S MY JOB AND NOBODY ELSE IS ALLOWED TO DO IT OR IT UPSETS ME GREATLY.
