The Friz guided the bus through town towards the causeway, idling for a minute at the end of it. "Everyone take your seats, please! Ready? Hit it Liz!"

The bus jumped. The bus twisted. The bus blasted off and headed for the stars.

Ooooh, burny shiny colours.

"Don't be alarmed children, we won't burn up!" she said cheerfully as she rattled off the layers of the atmosphere.

"Oooh" Ami was mostly speechless except for small excited noises that periodically escaped.

She nodded, her eyes trained to the windows, and out beyond. "I never imagined...I mean, I watch tv and all that but this is so totally different."

Annette took a picture too. "I hope I brought enough film." She wasn't looking around on the bus but she did ask Ami, "Was Billy coming?"

Annette noticed that blush and just grinned. Inwardly though she secretly sort of wished she could experience that sort of feeling. Again.

Sighing, she shrugged off those thoughts and took another picture. "This might be the best field trip I've been on yet."

"Well, if I count just here at Fandom, this is my first. Unless the ski trip can signify as a field trip then this is number two. And back home I went on several." She answered, smiling.
