Okay, this:

Even so, Ray thought he might have had a shot at it if Fraser had gone into his usual clueless routine, but he hadn’t. From the smile on his face, it was clear that Fraser knew damn well what was going on, which meant Ray knew damn well that Fraser was there for one thing, and one thing only.

was a great couple of lines. Says so much about the Fraser that is underneath the facade he shows most of the time.

Really liked this, I think you captured Ray's POV very well, and Fraser's second thoughts one he realized this was new to Ray were spot on.

Fraser is very good at maintaining space between himself and others when he wants, and he's equally good at sending himself into a guilt trip. In my happy little world, Ray short-circuits both process very easily.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

I love Ray's buddies at the gay bar, they're just so cool and chummy and they totally know what's going on in Ray's head and I just <3 them.

Can't imagine the kind of ribbing he's going to get the next time he heads in there.

I had a face touching kink before W2, but that movie did much to soothe that kink.

Ray could wear a white tuxedo and carry a bouquet of white roses with one red rose at the center to signify Fraser.
