You know its only been 2 and a 1/2 weeks, but I do believe the state of VA is shaping up to overshadow an embarassing 2006, with a disastrous 2007. Already we've made national headlines for the ever-wise Virgil Goode and his open-minded and tolerant view of the Koran, having a high school art teacher use his genatalia to paint "works of art" and then post a video of himself "painting" on YouTube, and now a state legislator has told African Americans to just "get over slavery."
