Ugggggh. I haven't been to a dentist in about ten years. I just went a while without insurance and now I'm horrified of what they'll say so I get too anxious to even make the appointment. I know when I finally do go I'm going to live there for a month and be in debt out my ears. Like, I am legitimately terrified that my teeth are going to crumble right out of my head and I'm STILL more afraid to go to the dentist and fix any of it.

I go to the dentist every 6 months (and have my whole life) but I still one time had to fill 8 cavities. (You'd think that would have convinced me to stop drinking so much soda.)

Have fun with the weird, numb feeling! And watch your tongue!

I made the mistake of not going for a while (and not taking proper care of my teeth) so I lived at the dentist from August 2010 to a couple months after. Yeah, that numbing stuff they gave me really worked well; I'd go to the dentist in the early afternoon and it'd sometimes take until bedtime for it to wear off completely.
