I play: Violet Gargamel and Rose Tyler.
Available on: IRC as VioletG or Rose (usually Rose, since there's two Violets); gchat as flame.child[at]gmail.com; occasionally AIM as Cazmeralda. I tend to avoid IRC when I'm studying as I have the concentration span of a gnat, so if I'm comment ninjaing and you need to talk to me desperately but I'm not there, then email/gchat works. Simon will usually know whether I'm logged into gchat or not.
Timezone/Language: GMT +10, really only English although I have studied others and then forgotten them.
Goals: Nothing specific, I just want to have fun. And like, stay IC.
Playing: About a month after I got in, I made a decision to avoid dropping threads before they come to their natural conclusion. Basically, I will go on forever until it seems like there's nothing left to say, or we've reached a nice spot, which can obviously be determined by either participant of the thread in question. Wow, that sounds like such a clinical attitude when written down. The reason for this is that, previously, I'd just dropped threads when I had to leave, and as a result I never got to have deep and meaningful. Which I like, hence the new attitude.
I frequently comment ninja from uni, which is why I might not be on irc while I'm threading. If something comes up in a thread and I'm not on irc, drop me a line through gmail. I also take longer to reply to commetns when I'm in class because I do try to pay attention to the class as well.
Betaing: Sure. I don't know many canons, but I'm happy to be a total spelling/grammar whore for anyone. In fact, I would probably enjoy that role in a way that frightens me. Canons that I know (besides the obvious) include (but are not limited to): Buffy, Firefly, Angel (Jossverse, essentially), Harry Potter, Pratchett, Gaiman (novels/short fiction), His Dark Materials... I'm going to stop now, but I think you can probably get the idea from that list. If you're not sure, just ask.
AUs: Dunno. Ask? No porn.
Pimping: Read Unclean Legacy. It's on the internet and it's free. You know you want to. Also, watch Doctor Who. It is seriously made of awesome, and although most of the characters are counsellors, I will find some campers for you to app. And then I will pimp them over at bouncy_castle.
Oh, and if I disappear off the face of the earth with no warning, DON'T PANIC. I'm probably just buried in textbooks. Or, my computer has died for the billionth time. Neither of which is a reason for PANIC.
