Paris is one of those cities that goes on the major lists when people get to talking about famous places they want to see before they die -- even if they're not all that fond of the French. I'm...admittedly a little disappointed to see that the Eiffel Tower seems to be missing, but there's plenty more to appreciate. Despite what might be assumed about me, I found my visit to Notre Dame to be especially interesting. It's been a long time since I've been in a place where there were thousands of eyes on me.
I for one would love to see what this place looks at other times of year. Spring bloom transforms any location it happens to happen in. The greens are suddenly so green that you wonder if you've forgotten how the color is meant to look.
If Paris is the city of love, then I believe that is when it is meant to be visited.
