Time for me to head on home, buddy. Thanks for being the best of friends and being a bright spot in my stay here. You're like a brother to me. That really means a whole lot more to me than being a hero, but maybe that's because I've played so many onstage. You're more than a script: I'll remember getting drinks together and doing karaeoke and the time you let me be all pathetic and uncool around you more than any of the times you were badass. Maybe we'll see each other again someday, and maybe we won't, but I'd really like to. If you get the chance, tell Death to piss off so we can go hit a real bar together.

Well Sunshine Girl, the time has come for me to leave. I'm not ashamed to say I've always had a little crush on you (who doesn't?). At first you were a mystery to me-it was like when you walked, your feet weren't quite touching the ground. Now I know you more and I know you're not someone who's beyond reach ... in fact I think in a lot of ways we're an awful lot alike. Between the Director and Cosmos, I don't know what time or space or death means for the chances of ever seeing each other again, but I know that when I see flowers blooming I'll always think of you.

Thanks for being a friend the whole time I was here, and also for looking out for Choco. He was really skittish around people before, but now he's so much better! Mene will happy about that. Anyway, I get the feeling we'll see each other again, one way or another.

You were one of my first real friends here, and one of the few people who hasn't left this whole time. I'm gonna miss you a lot! There's so much I want to show you someday, so get your butt to Alexandria when you can (Axel can come along too of course). Thanks for giving me a picture for Christmas, by the way. It was my favorite present. I wish we had faster cameras on Gaia: that way I could take snaps of all the people and places I want to remember. With the way technology is picking up these days, though, who knows? Maybe I'll have one by the time you visit me.
For what it's worth, I don't think that being a Nobody means you will never have a Heart. The Black Mages and my fellow Genomes are proof enough of that. Just keep going, things will come together someday.

Garland once said that we had 'similar souls.' I sure as hell didn't want to beleive it at the time, but maybe he was right-only not for the reasons he thought. I'm glad I was given the time to realize that. Just now I thought about the last time I said goodbye to you (in fact it really feels like it happened yesterday. Strange, that.), and now I get one that's much better.
