(no subject)
i woke up this morning to the crack of thunder and loooots of rain, it was lovely! too lovely, i decided it was too harsh of weather to walk to school in, and then just went back to sleep. of course the rain quit 45 minutes later, and i could've rushed to get to school, but i opted not to, and slept in. i have gotten a good bit of work done though, done some sewing, worked on my company analysis project, and emailed mr. mac about this saint martins trip chaos.
while we're in london, 15 students get to take a 3 day trip to the design school. it costs 125 GBP, and i was to get a travelers check for said amount to give mr. mac. well...for whatever reason, i thought i was supposed to get a certified bank check, so i did. and it cost an extra $40, awesome. so now i'm trying to use this check to get travelers checks and i haven't been able to so far. i think i can refund the money, but it will go into my mom's account, then she'll have to transfer it to mine, and then i have to go get travlers checks. and then she'll know she wasted money. i feel so bad that she spent extra to overnight the check, only to find out it's not what i need! they've already bought my $1300 plane ticket, and covered the $6500 tuition! i feel so guilty. i am so lucky. one day, i will repay them.
okay, back to sewing. i'm entering one dress into the fashion show, and the fitting is tomorrow!
