Unrelated anecdotes suck. Especially when the teacher tries to relate EVERY SINGLE TOPIC to some occurrence in his life.

In economics, the process of hiring workers and buying tools was compared to Thanksgiving dinner (apparently with every single bite, you decide what food would give you the greatest enjoyment at that moment and you eat it, until your stomach is full; companies buy whatever will give them the most output for the money until they run out of money).
