Jour-naaaaal
Haven't updated this thing in YONKS but for some reason I have been using my Bebo journal. Anyway FOR ONCE I actually have shite to update about so here goes.
- exams! PAssed them all which was a relief, I was sure I'd fucked up American Constituion but wahey. Got 3 B's, 2 C's and a D (the D being for Constitution) which means I really need to get my arse in gear for next term to make my Honours mark worth it. I realied theres less than eight weeks until September so am getting my geek on at the moment.
- flat! Living with Raff and Stef in our much-nicer-than-the-last-flat flat. I puuure love it, althoug it's weird having Raff go back to her OWN bed as opposed to shacking up in mine of an evening. It's great though, nights spent pissing about watching shite tv are no longer rendered a waste because of the banter!
- Had some great nights out, particularly zombie night last week, got steaming and covered oruselved in fake blood and goo which was a chuckle. The marshmallow I used for wounds ripped follicles out my inner arm though and they got infected (possibly with rage) an my doctor forced antibiotics and a bandage on me. Folliculitis- it is a threat to us all.
- had some fun times in both London and Manchster, the pinnacle of London obviously being Aerosmith who were EVERYTHING I DREAMED OF AND MORE. I did tons of other geeky shit but I'll put it under a cut.
It was awesome, here's stuff in brief before I forget, not in any particular order
- standing outside Hyde Park drinking Jack from a hip flask, offering it to people and being refused WTF Londonders?
- the girl in front of me moaning not very subtley about me "pushing" her then he
r bf going "why do you care you're only here for one song anyway?" NNNNNG stupid people
- being really giggly after having some champagne and me and Sarah busting into Brady Bunch moves on the escalator
- "come in! out landing gear is down!" as we were getting on the plane
- Sarah's faux pas about Pele
- my faux pas about jobby
- the "toothbrush" comment which meant we never left the hotel without one
- me realising that our hotel was across from King's Cross station and thus spending the entire time looking for Harry Potter characters
- getting off at Covent Garden station which was completely, absolutely empty ala 28 Days Later, was well creepy
- Harrods which had beautiful chocolate and even more beautiful cats, £900 but my god did I want one
- singing "Eat the Rich" and running down Park Lane, so mature
- cocktails in the Hard Rock cafe in Hyde Park
- seeing LENNY HENRY at the airport
- going to Abbey Road and hilariously going to the wrong zebra crossing until someone corrected us
- the Beateles museum which was lovely
-the crazy guy who ran the Beatles shop and looked like he was stuck in 1968
- me and Sarah leaping about during We Will Rock You
- nearly being sick at the aquarium, and being too scared to touch the stingray until Sarah made me
- London Eye which was phenomenal
- Trafalgar Square and the quite scary Jesus people who kept saying "Bless you"
- sitting up til 2 in the morning discussing different kinds of jobby
- the hotel room always being nine million degrees until we stole a fan
- watching the Hollyoaks omnibus
- me and Sarah dancing to "If Only"
- went to Manchester with Martin to see Tori Amos, she was unbelievable, complete opposite to the last time I saw her. She came out as one of her characters and only became "herself" like six songs in, she's off the chart mental but a pleasure to watch nonetheless.
- love life is stagnant as ever, find me a boyfriend pweeeese?
- Lush continues to be great but I have ZERO hours so in addition to findging me a boyfriend find me a job! Thanks.
