Yay orlando. I miss some parts of it, but not my filthy room. I think I'll do a big cleaning before Movie Night. No really, I will. Definitely. Yep. It's really hard to stay productive once I get in my apartment. I came home just to pick up some books so I could sell them and buy my new ones, but that idea quickly burned up.
I just bought the new Cursive CD, and the first four tracks (All I've listened to so far) seem really good. It's hard for me rate an album on first listen though. They have an ominous sound as always, very sharp, edgy instrumentals as well. The chaos in their music is extraordinary. They're coming to orlando November 22nd. Everyone should come up because it's also JW's birthday. There's also other bands coming up, including but not limited to Minus the Bear, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Reliant K. There's so much music I want to listen to but I don't know where to start. Damn
Park Avenue CD's and their shameless ploys to try to make me buy more paraphernalia.
My schedule is extra college-y this semester, as all my classes are math related and I'm taking an "Engineering Statistics and Analysis" class which seems overwhelming and difficult. I still haven't bought my books (see above), or picked up my decals. I'm pretty sure I have to pay my apartment complex fifty dollars to replace their shitty key that broke off in my door, and they won't accept my cheap copies I tried to pass off for the real thing. Tricksy bastards.
I'm 2.5 hours away from my girlfriend, and will be for the next two semesters (maybe more?). Not much really to say there, I guess it's pretty much sunk in by now. That doesn't make it much easier to cope with, unfortunately. But at least I can keep my mind somewhat on track in regards to my studies.
I think I'm getting a nicotine craving. Think I'll lay off the cigs a while.
