Tour last week? Where to start? Over 3,600 miles in 7 days, we:
-met good people
-were taken care of by the endless generosity of family and friends in unexpected places (God is cool like that)
-played a few great rock shows
-played a few total busts (nobody there but hey, the bartenders and sound guy dug us)
-introduced hardcore kids to the endless wonder of post-rock

Here were the shows in chronological order: Concordia, MO; Lincoln, NE; Austin, TX; Manhattan, KS; Denver, CO; Denver, CO. The boys of The Atlantic took gooood care of us in Denver. I'm fairly sure we're as close to soul mates as bands can get. Maybe I'll post pictures eventually?

None of us made a net profit. But if you think about it in terms of a week of fun, fun vacation with great friends ... a couple hundred bucks is a steal! Now it's time to find a job.

Beau and I applied to rent a darling acreage between Ames and Huxley. If we get approved (which is only iffy because neither of us work full time at the moment), the house is going to be the best newlyweds/budding musicians home ever. Big spacious living room surrounded in windows and a massive front porch overlooking an even-more-massive front yard? Beautiful.
