(no subject)
I just found out I don't have to work over break. To be specific, they won't let me (unless I work for free, but seriously).
Short story short, I will have no formal commitments or obligations for three consecutive weeks of my life, and I could not be more excited about it. There will be a lot of music making and a lot of soul resting. I'm also going to abstain from spending money since I will have no income. Maybe a meal or two here or there, but ya know. Shopping is for the birds anyway.
Last night I was entirely blessed by my church's Sunday school Christmas program. I helped with the primary class, as per usual, and fluted. Then I ate entirely too many sweet things prepared by big-hearted church ladies. Becoming a Sunday school teacher--er, helper/substitute teacher--was the best move I made all semester.
I proceeded to stay up all night finishing a Web site and writing three three-page essays start to finish. I slept all afternoon, and I'm about to stay up for most of the next night studying for a stuuuupid geology exam. Oi. It's OK though, it'll all be over in four days. (I only need 11.5 credits to graduate. Easy semester, ahoy! (Easier than 20 credits, anyway.))
