What a week[end]!
Thursday - show with Cosmia
Sunday - show with Candle/Bear Country
Monday - show with Deas Vail
Sunday was particularly fun ... we got together around 9am to drive to Waukee to practice and record some live "studio (/Kniffen's parents' basement)" footage. None of us knew what time the show started. "Hey guys," I said, "wouldn't it be funny if we were the late show?"
We were.
So we got there around 9:45pm and they said, "uhm, do you guys mind playing last?" HAH. We took the stage at approximately 1:45am. Three of us had to be up the next morning for work at 7-8. Funny how things work out ... it was the smoothest show we've ever played. Which is OBVIOUSLY a big deal--we've played like seven shows :P
