September-October Challenge
well, i was going to wait a couple more days to post this, but then i thought to myself "i should give everyone who has it, the Labor Day holiday to get a jump on this". so i'm going to.
the September-October Challenge theme is: Everything I Need To Know About Life, I Learned From Optimus Prime.
i can hear some of you crying out already, but remember: these things need not necessarily be "positive" things. the Decepticons could most certainly learn from the Autobot leader as well as any Autobot--they'll just be taking different lessons home.
1. all media types will be accepted for this challenge. this means anything from fanfiction to icons to AMVs. there's a ton of room for creativity for this challenge. ^__^
2. all entries must have a label which clearly states what lesson the team has learned from Optimus Prime. for example:
In order to make sure your enemy goes down and stays down, rip off his face before putting your sword through his spark." (see, i told you they didn't have to be positive lessons.)
this label can go in the header of your piece, at the beginning or at the end. it makes no difference for its location, as long as it's there.
3. your entry must include every member of your chosen combiner team. the actual presence of Optimus Prime is optional, but will net you a bonus high five.
4. fiction entries must be at least 500 words long, though there is no maximum word limit. icon sets must be at least five icons. Videos must be at least 30 seconds.
5. your entries can have any rating, but anything rated R, M, AO or NC17 must be locked to the community so that it is members only.
6. entries are due at 11:59 PM CST on Saturday Oct. 15, 2011.
7. when you post, please remember to use a header that lists the title of your piece, the rating, the characters involved, the universe it takes place in and any content warnings/enticements needed. ALSO please remember to use the appropriate tags. if you need a tag and it's not on the list, let a mod know and we'll add it for you.
8. have fun and feel no pressure! this is just for a good time, after all. ^__^
