I watched Razor late, late last night and I'm still kind of loving/weirded out by it.

I totally need to take a nap right now and I'm not thinking clearly, so all I can say is ...

I thought Shaw was mad hot. And I would have loved to see more of Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen's fine self on BSG, but since we'd never heard of Shaw before I figured she wasn't long for the world.

I too thought it was nice to see Starbuck going back to her roots. Watching Razor I remembered by I liked Starbuck so much, and mourned how much her mopiness last season sucked.

I love watching Michelle Forbes on my screen, and the scene where she was talking to Shaw about being a razor was some crazy good acting. Seriously Michelle, you make me lust after Cain so much.

I see your point about the romance being pointless and esoteric, but the femslasher in me kind of loved it. I liked that we got an explanation for how Cain could be such a callow, heartless bitch when it came to the crews treatment of Gina (I mean, we already knew she was made of stone, but that seemed a bit far to go even for Cain), and it was nice to see Tricia and Michelle making schmoopy faces at each other for while (though that shoulder rub was SO overdone). I did like that Gina paused when she had the opportunity to shoot Cain in CC though, somehow it made the whole thing even more tragic since she did have real feelings for Cain.

The femslasher in me also loved that Shaw seemed to have a crush on Cain as well.

I kept thinking that she looked like Kristin Kreuk's Australian older sister.

So true!

And the fact that Starbuck is evidently the bringer of the apocalypse and the harbinger of death?

lol, because Starbuck doesn't have enough issues ...

Also, it was nice to see Steve Bacic as Cain's first XO *pets the pretty*

All in all, I really liked Razor though, and I enjoyed seeing more Cain and getting to know Shaw even though she was essentially a footnote.

P.S. I can't believe the Cylons were stupid enough to let model 6's board the Pegasus knowing that they had an agent on board. What kind of planning was that? Bad Cylons, bad!
