Apparently the PeTA responds to hate-mail. In all honesty their reply was polite, reasonable, and well spoken. Had I not just spent the last week researching their batshit crazy stances I might have even been able to forgive them for their tactics.
So I guess if they focused more of their time and money on actual animal cruelty, and less on promoting veganism and attacking farmers, and if they used less inflammatory tactics, and if they were a whole lot less full of themselves I might actually agree with them. Oh. Wait. If that were the case they'd be the ASPCA, or one of the other many organizations that manages to do far more good with far less masturbatory self creditation.
