[Salyssa] chemical romance

It's time for that bizarre pink holiday again. The last time I saw this holiday, I had a pulse. It's interesting how things change. What hasn't changed is the fact that I think this holiday is--tacky at best. On the other hand, now that I have a laboratory at hand and official dispensation to use it, I fully intend to capture a sizeable sample of that chemical the Crown Company has come up with and see if I can't figure out 1. how to reproduce it and 2. some way of using it to the advantage of the Horde, the Forsaken, and/or Curse. Specifically, for the extraction of useful information--while getting information from a subject unwillingly is a science that the Forsaken excel at, it is time-consuming and sometimes politically inadvisable, and there is always the difficulty of verifying its accuracy, as even under interrogation subjects will try to leave out or deliberately fudge key bits of data. However, influence them into some semblance of "love" with their captors, and they will give the information freely, to the best of their knowledge, and as accurately as possible. It could also become the basis of an excellent double-agent recruitment scheme...

... which leads me to wonder if the Doctor doesn't somehow exude something like this chemical on his own; he certainly has similar effects on people...

science!, salyssa, information extraction, doc, pink holiday, chemical romance, embrace the shadow
