Oh Nether's sake. It's Winter's Veil. Even these big dumb lumps in Telaar are apparantly going in for it, they've put up decorations. Feh.
I suppose the human thing to do would be to give gifts to people I know, and presumably like. Never mind that I barely have any money, and these big blue lumps won't sell me anything. Maybe I can scrounge some stuff up around the edges of town. Or maybe I could make everybody some nice potions, how festive. Feh. I'll have to think about it.
Meanwhile, I'm running out of tobacco. I can order more through Shattrath, of course, but it's ruinously expensive. I need something to help strech out what I have... I'll ask the locals experiment with the local weeds. Who knows, maybe I'll find something amazing that nobody here has bothered to try smoking yet, and make my fortune smuggling it out of the Outlands. Haha.
... reading over this entry, it doesn't really come across, but damn, I feel so much better. I think I really did just need to get the Nether away from everything for a while. Subject is still alive, I haven't caught any fish, I haven't read Melikyen's journal, and whatever else I can say about the locals, they don't constantly try to talk to me.
I hope I can get just a little more time out here... maybe a week.
