It seems as though things are recovering well, even given all the pressure and tension created by that pirate fiasco. Such is the nature of things, though...always moving, and recovering, if need be.

...Speaking of which, this place has a good spring. It's too late to plant a lot of things, but I wonder if I could see about some of the local flora. ( Read more... )

You plan to sell flowers? I have a friend who will appreciate that.

Yes, something like that! So, this person enjoys plants?

He is quite passionate about roses. He's spoken to me about wanting a garden in his home, but I'm afraid he doesn't know how to go about it.

Roses? Well, does he have land? Right now is a pretty good time to plant some bulbs. But if he has no land...I'd suggest a plant box or a pot?

We have a little scrap of garden to plant something in. He could probably use a little guidance in regard to what and how. Though I believe he's determined to start with a plant in a pot and work his way up.

That's good, too, starting small and steadily working up. And once the rose plant is bigger and he is confident enough, he can transfer it from the pot to the ground.

Um, though, if I may, if you have any questions or need any help, I'll do what I can. It's not much, but I want to do what I can for the people here.

That's very kind of you. If you feel like looking him up, his name is Siegfried von Schroider. I believe he works as a clerk of some sort in one of the clothing shops.

It's not a big deal, really. And thank you. I'll see about him as soon as orders clear up!
