I'm Gert. I live in Michigan with Emily (my human) and 20-odd other dolls. Or possibly 20 other odd dolls.
One day I will post pictures and stuff about them, but Emily is asleep and my hands are too little to use the camera. Also, Emily would probably scream a lot if I broke it. Why do humans always have to do human things (like sleep) when it inconveniences me?
Dolls like to sleep sometimes, but we don't actually NEED to sleep. It's like being dropped on your head off of a shelf like three times your height. If a human was dropped on their head, they'd be seriously inconvenienced. With dolls it's more like "Did I lose a shoe? No? Good. Okay, someone fix my hair now."
Or taking baths. Emily takes a bath EVERY SINGLE DAY! I've had one bath in my whole life, and even then I wasn't actually soaking wet (EW!) I just got scrubbed with a Mr. Clean Eraser. (If anyone was wondering, they sting.)
Humans are just so weird.
