General Update
First of all: I love Google ads. "Looking for men in wet underwear?" Well... I am *now*.
Landlord came by yesterday and we fixed the window. That was good. With the warm weather we've been having recently it wasn't too much of a problem, but I hated looking at it and going through the whole incredulous/pissed off/bummed out cycle again. So I'm sure I'll be finding little tiny glass shards now and again, but it's pretty well cleaned up. I went down and talked to the police about it. I didn't do anything official, but I wanted to make sure they were aware of it and I was curious if there had been similar incidents.
The weekend was good. Went out dancing Friday night. Saturday night was the SingStar party. Oh my. I was intended to just be a spectator, but every single person there seemed to have a similar intention, so I did end up singing. There was some fun songs that I liked, so the degree to which I was making a fool out of myself wasn't such an issue. I had fun, but mostly because of the booze and the company. Then I totally kicked everyone's respective arses in Apples to Apples though, so that made up for my incredibly off-key, too flat singing.
Sunday I went for a walk with queequeg50 and little Gus, and then watched baseball and played chess with briseur and talked about Latin grammar. (I couldn't remember how to formulate the passive voice, but I figured it out walking home. I'm really glad thought bubbles don't exist in real life.)
I've been getting up early without really having a need to, and that makes me unusually productive. Who knows, I may even have my porch set up by the end of the week.
