To sleep, perchance to... you know... *blushes*

I dreamt last night that my former employer opened an office in my house... it was really awesome, because my boss was my sister who is of course way cooler than my former boss. There was no bullshit, just work and the ability to do it free of micro-management. And the work was really easy, especially because the other side disputed the claims merely by putting together a "Guide to Investment Terms" which was basically a collection of handwritten notes and black & white photographs scotch-taped together, showing how rich they were (e.g., toy poodles hanging out of ford mustangs, etc.) apparently with the inference that wealth = infallibility. (Who can really blame them though, as that is so often the case in criminal court...)

As the dream progressed, though, more and more former co-workers were added and the place started to suck again. I won't mention any names, (except for Bob - you are lame and useless and will never read this, so there) but beaurocracy and inefficiency crept in. The door to my office didn't have a knob or handle of any kind and I had to claw it open and it got harder every day. I hate it when dreams turn into reality.

Then there was a very bizarre part at the end where I was walking down my old street in Essex and was menaced by a walking skeleton, so I just kind of floated up into the air to avoid it. Second time this week I've had a flying dream.

It's way too early for me to be awake, considering cat was eating cardboard boxes and attacking my feet late last night. There's a plumber guy coming over at some point (he was supposed to be here at 8, but he sounds like a loser.) The heat doesn't work in my room, but that's not what he's here for. The electrician guy will be here tomorrow and will hopefully remedy that solution. I need to go find some method of supplying my body with caffeine. Any suggestions? I've heard that drinking certain substances does wonders. If anyone has any knowledge of this please let me know.

work, dreams
