Well it has been a month since I've posted anything that wasn't health-related. It has been a scary month. The good news is that I feel a lot better (at least for now) and I think I am slowly getting feeling back on the right side of my face. I am still scheduled to see a neurologist next month so I hope that I will finally have some answers after seeing him.
Now- some other things- on Friday I went to Iron & Wine, basically because Liz asked me to go, because I am honestly not a huge fan. Bianca and I left about halfway through and Liz and her friends left shortly after. After they left they went to get pizza nearby and a bunch of people from the show were there and said it "was the worst Iron & Wine show they had EVER seen." So I don't know, maybe Mr. Beam was having an off night?
On Saturday I went shopping at Twelve Oaks with Liz. That mall has got pretty "fancy" since the last time I went about three years ago. I was about as impressed as I can get by a mall. We also saw a transvestite shopping for jewelry at Icing, which kind of made my day. Then Liz and I had dinner and a movie with Adam. It was yummy and the movie was pretty good. We saw Smart People. I did not know that Roy from The Office would be playing a neurologist (I hope mine is that cute). I was totally excited about that. I am still disturbed by a certain scene with Ellen Page & Thomas Haden Church, but I won't elaborate. After the movie we had BOB JO's. Any ex-Downriver residents should totally be jealous.
Yesterday I went to Wyatt's (my friend Jessica's son) 1st birthday party. It was kind of short notice so the only non-relatives there were Mike and Angela and they got there when I was leaving so I felt a little awkward. I had made plans with Bianca so I left at 6 anyway and stopped having to answer questions about why I'm not dating anyone and when I am going to have kids.
Today at work our systems were down until right before I went on lunch so we are going to have a busy afternoon playing catch up. So, I guess I should stop goofing around and get to work. Lame.
