Break Time

So, after finishing 2 Gov tests, plus an assignment, I decide to take a break, before completely engrossing myself into "A Doll's House," which I forgot to read over a crazy spring break. Here's a quick update on life.

-Good pictures were taken in NY. Hooray! FSPA Entries, here I come.

-Spamalot included a Napoleon Dynamite reference, taking the idea of Broadway, and Monty Python as well, to a new, somewhat uncharted place.

-Centerspread in newspaper is almost done. Caffeine. Makes me jittery with excitement.

-Still too much math/gov/english work to do. Poo on that.

-Jazz band is going overnight to state after all. Apparently there is a "Black Tie" room, but Chris is staying in "Hallway 1" ?

So that's about all the good stuff I can muster. Oh, and I'm rather enjoying The Clash. The band that is. Gave them a listen on a more well rounded, less Casbah-centric level, and lo! I have found another band that I really like. I leave you with a song. It is not depressing, despite how the lyrics might read.

Then you left me, said you felt trapped
Well some things you can explain away

Did you stand by me
No, not at all
Did you stand by me
No way

The shareef don’t like it
Rockin’ the casbah
Rock the casbah

He thinks it’s not kosher
Fundamentally he can’t take it.
You know he really hates it.

Kosher, indeed. Back to work with me.
