Spring Break

So, spring break so far has been very good, although I don't think it's even yet begun. Friday spent most of the day at home, but worked at the church some on music, and some other stuff. Ended up being out of the house for a lot of the day, wandering Merritt Island looking desperately for something to do.

Today, I cleaned a little around the house, and then went to practice fine arts fest music at the church, which went surprisingly well. We're gonna work tomorrow with the entire worship team, but the core musicians/vocalists are ready to go for the most part, now it's more a matter of tightening things up and making sure we know what we are doing.

Also, went out to lunch, which was good, ate a lot of pizza, which was bad. Because pizza sits like a rock, and makes me feel very sleepy. Drove down to Melbourne with Jake to pick up grandma, and wandered the mall there, because we had some time before I had to pick my grandma up. Went in to PacSun, which reminds me I need to get shirts and shorts, because I've outgrown a lot of shorts height-wise over winter.

And, while at the mall, strange things happened. Some random girl comes up to me in some random store, and asks me for my number. For her friend, of course, who's "standing over there but shy." Riight. Thing is, it's wierd, to me, because this is a new thing. What is the right response? I believe mine was "um... uhm, ok, it's... um, hold on a second, I don't remember it, it's... uh" and then eventually I got my head out of my rear and remembered it.

Jake looks over at me and is like "um, you know she didn't have a friend standing there." I was like "what?" And so he's like "yeah, she just didn't wanna say anything."

End result is, that I think I swapped some digits accidentally. So if you're some random girl that was in the melbourne mall, I'm not a jerk, honest, just really bad with that sort of thing.

So maybe you don't see the comedy here, but, put me in the picture, and it becomes hilarious.

Maybe I am too naive. (haha)

But, spring break is for learning societal rules and behavior, no?
