GDC Day 5 - Completion
Well this is the last blog you will see from me until Sunday when I get back to my wonderful apartment!
It has been a WONDERFUL week and I have loved every minute of it. The little bother seems to have enjoyed it as well and may be going to the Austin GDC in September to look for jobs there as well since he will be graduating in December and its a little bit closer to that time for him.
I went back to the CCP booth today to finish helping them out. That was a TON of fun for several reasons. I got to hang with the CCP gang again and I got to talk about Eve which I really enjoy. Working with them is fun and if I was able to get a job with them I would take it in a heartbeat (including finishing my degree in Atlanta if need be).
I got several more business cards from people, including several from booksellers that have some stuff that would be great to sell at the bookstore including WOW art books and other Computer Science and Game Design/Programming books. :D
I also met some other great people that I will be chatting with I'm sure. The girls from last night were ok, I ran into one of them before we left. That is definitely good and the guys there thanked me as well.
Other than that we're gonna rest for the night and get ready to leave tomorrow. I might hit some shopping here before I leave and tomorrow I gotta send my major stuff that won't fit in my suitcase through FedEx home. Yaaay.
