While I usually hate the whole fake-anime thing the Western networks are doing now, Avatar is fairly decent. Three things pretty much won me over - an argument over the difference between bison and buffalo, an episode where frozen wood frogs were a major plot point (they really do freeze solid, it's how they hibernate), and the line "Look, someone's being attacked by a platypus bear!"

A platypus bear looks *exactly* like it sounds. It is awesome.
