I wish that someone thought that i was incredible and amazing. Does that sound selfish? Even if it does, i still wish that, but wishes are frivolous.

It doesn't sound selfish. I've been there. It's different for everybody though, so I can't say I know exactly what you mean, and I haven't been exaclty there.
